Are only Facebook page admins on the hook/at risk if something happens with a page?
I’m a full-time freelance social media manager. Recently, I switched my access with all clients to “task access” in the New Pages Experience and insisted only clients have admin/Facebook access.
I have one client who’s a journalist and has been covering a very controversial story. He’s recently been getting a ton of hate on Facebook/Instagram via comments. A lot of religious nuts posting bible verses in all caps.
Only having task access, are my personal META accounts safe if he ends up getting enough reports and losing the page?
On Facebook, it says anyone who has ‘Facebook access is responsible for the page’s actions,’ so I’m hoping that’s the case.
I’m considering switching to JUST a scheduling tool and not using Meta Business Suite at all, but it has features that are really useful that the API doesn’t allow social schedulers to have.
