What is the best way you’ve found for approving Instagram posts?

We’re brining on a new social media manager, the majority of content we do is reels so for audio purposes they are scheduled in the app.

What is the best way for me to approve them prior to them being posted?

If I’m logged in on a different device can I view them still? Or Do they need to send them directly to me before scheduling?

You need a social media management platform like hootsuite. They shouldn’t have direct access to your platforms.

I dunno if this changed but if you save something as a draft on one device it doesn’t show up on another device as a draft.

Use a social media management tool! A handful of them have content approval systems.

    Hootsuite, Later, Metricool, Sprout, etc.

I would see which one works best for you!

I am the co-founder of a social media scheduling tool called OneUp, and we have built an approval workflow inside OneUp so that you (or whoever’s the admin) would receive an email whenever your social media manager submits a post for approval.

OneUp supports posting to IG (Reels, Stories, and posts), FB, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles (including replying to reviews).
