Applying for Social Media Manager jobs, help would be appreciated.
Hello all, I’ve ran my own online business using social media for the last 5ish years now. I fancy a change to potentially work for an employer. I was wondering if anyone could help me on the application and hiring process.
Im aware a portfolio is very important for freelancing. But when looking at job descriptions portfolios aren’t often mentioned. My question is, would it be expected for portfolios be asked for later on in the hiring process?
Any bonus tips on cover letters and resumes would also be appreciated. As many insights would be great so I can be best prepared. Thank you for your time!

You should probably have a portfolio site with examples or a list of past clients. (If you don’t have those things it’s fine, but outline your successes and results in your cover letter as proof you have the experience).
