As we know there are more than 20+ backlink activity we do in order to get ranks on keywords. Few of them are paid like guest posting, influencer outreaching, podcasting etc. So what are the best backlink activity which are free and effective?

In my current role, I have never once asked or paid for a backlink. I have around 250k backlinks, from 7k domains. 94% text and 54% in the US.
How did I do it? By continually writing really good articles. What does it mean? It means Organic is by far our best-performing channel in terms of pure revenue.

Make an inforgaphic blog page with a collection of quality statistics. Someone may use it as a reference and link back to your blog.

From what I understand, guest posting should be done infrequently to ensure Google doesn’t punish you with penalty points. Exchanging back links seems to be a form of manipulation, so the best thing to do is just be good at you do. It shows if the content is rushed so create organic, authentic, meaningful content to entice users.

Press releases are a good way of doing, but only if they link to good rich content, and there is a story.
