Anyone else pissed off by Ahrefs pricing structure?
It’s ridiculous – Not only do we have to pay more, but now you run out of credits mid-cycle and have to pay even more.

What’s everyone else using apart from Ahrefs? I want this to be my last billing cycle with them. (I also have SEO surfer but don’t find them as good for KW research)

Ahrefs is becoming cocky. For keywords I use SEMrush. For backlinks Majestic and for hidden PBN backlinks Linxact.

Yeah. Had to cancel because I couldn’t justify paying that much each month. They think they’re the only (or best) game in town and are getting a bit greedy imo.

Never a fan of ahrefs; that’s why I use semrush

I like SEMrush but it’s gone awfully slow and they’ve changed the way some data is presented, which is bad. I do like their site audits though. Keywordtool.io is good for research. Ubersuggest generally sucks. I’m just glad my boss pays for ahrefs

How much is the new pricing? We have it and I didn’t know the price was going up.

Me! Totally agree with you. I have definitely closed the account because of the pricing structure, not other reasons.

I am using ahrefs from last 7 years and I have seen they have increase their pricing from $7 to now $99 and in cases like $200 is well

I’m on an older plan and it’s set to renew later this year for 2G for a total of two users
currently looking for replacements

I only use Ubersuggest because it’s a one-time fee. It’s not anywhere near as good as SEMRush or Ahrefs, but it tracks keywords, gives some on-page suggestions, has ok stats in one place.

SEMRush does so much. Curious what Arefs does better/uniquely.

Yesssss. Cancelled the subscription right after the very first month. I personally use ubersuggest (not a promotion, affiliate or something). Mainly because it has a lifetime plan. Even if you have multiple sites in your blogging portfolio their lifetime plan is just great and is worth every penny.
You can do almost endless keyword research, analyze competitive sites, do site analysis and a lot more. All you need to do is just pay a $200 one time fee ( not sure if isn’t still the same). But really worth it!
