Make a small giveaway to attract people to follow your Instagram. You can share coupons for free lunch or discount coupons at your restaurant with the condition that people who want these coupons must follow your Instagram. You can give out the coupon through the lucky draw system so you don’t need to give it to all of those people.
Then you can ask people who got coupons to give a little review of your restaurant by tagging you on their Instagram story.

Identify what the focus of your Instagram account should be used for. For example, is your food drool worthy and does it entice people to try? Instagram can be a great opportunity to solidify potential sales to new or existing customers by showcasing what your restaurant has to offer. Maybe you’re showcasing an experience, such as fine dining, brunch, or events? Basically amplify what makes your restaurant stand out on Instagram and have it be a virtual reflection of your brand. You can always throw in advertisements in between establishing your identify (I.e. giveaways, event announcements, etc. )

Get one or 2 of those local foodies (food influencers) that eat at local places and rate them to do a tasting at your restaurant

    Think about your customers!

What they want, Don’t do what you want.

They want to see the interior of the restaurant, food picture, quality, ambience etc.

Make sure you’re regular on social media and use relevant hashtags as well.

If you’re looking to grow your restaurant’s Instagram account, there are a few things you can do to increase your engagement and reach a wider audience.

First of all, make sure you’re posting high-quality photos and videos of your food, drinks, and restaurant ambiance. Use relevant hashtags and geotags to help your content get discovered by potential customers in your area.

Another thing you can do is partner with influencers and food bloggers in your niche. Reach out to them and offer them a free meal or discount in exchange for a shoutout on their Instagram account. This can help you reach a wider audience and build credibility for your restaurant.

But how do you know if these tactics are working? That’s where Snoopreport comes in. Snoopreport is an Instagram activity tracker that lets you monitor the activity of any public account, including your current or potential followers. With it, you can monitor new followings and unfollowings, as well as likes to posts and hashtags, and common interests. Gain valuable insights into your social media strategy and see which tactics are working and which ones need to be adjusted.

Leveraging Instagram Reels is a fantastic way to grow your account. Since Instagram now focuses on promoting Reels over regular posts, try creating at least 2 engaging Reels daily.

Use popular sounds and add interesting captions or questions to make your content more appealing.

However, juggling your Instagram growth efforts and your restaurant work might be tough. If you find it challenging to manage both, consider hiring a marketing agency like Ascendviral.

They have a reputation for helping businesses expand their social media presence, and working with them could help you maintain a balance between your restaurant duties and Instagram promotions.
