    Hi guys,

Do you have any tips/clever growth hacks to get more views on Posts on LinkedIn?

I do a lot of useful, industry advice (daily Posts about digital marketing, social media etc.) – but despite having over 4K music/digital/media people in my network (and getting new Connection Requests daily), most of my Posts tend to circle around 150-180 Views.

Also, pretty much none of my Connections (including the new ones) respond to what I post, other than literally one amazing guy (well, a Friend of mine) who’s Liking everything I post, every single day.

Sometimes it feels it’s just not worth it though, because I’m getting an impression that it’s just not reaching enough people at the gates, and because of that it’s then not served to other people down the chain ?‍♂️

I work in the music industry in one of the biggest cities for that industry worldwide, as a digital marketing & social media manager, and have been doing this for north of a decade, also been running workshops, training and 1:1 or business consultancy for people in this industry. Member of accredited industry bodies for Music Managers, Broadcast Media Professionals etc. Worked for record labels, publishers, artists directly, and more. Wouldn’t say I’m a “luminary” of any kind yet, although, yes, that’s the ultimate goal further down the road.

For the sake of clarity: I’m not connecting “en masse with everyone”. I’m only connecting with people who I know, or people in my particular sector (music industry, music marketing, digital marketing) I have multiple Shared connections with. Regularly reject Connection Requests from people that lie outside of that, and I make sure my outgoing Connection Requests are highly-curated and relevant.

I have a ton of knowledge that has been useful in a multitude of projects I have been involved in across the years – and people do value my knowledge, as I regularly get offers from people asking me to speak and teach others (not through the LinkedIn channel, however, hence my Post here).

What’s your key to LinkedIn success? How are you finding building a Following? Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It seems that Linkedin algorithm rewards posts with high engagements, especially comments.

Maybe you could try, within your posts, to ask questions or feedback to your audience to see the number of comments increasing, and then reply to each of them to create discussions.

I also see some “social selling gurus” using teasing techniques : they share only a part of a content and ask their audience to comment to receive the full version of it.

Also, make sure to not include any links in your copy and to use the native format of medias ( squared / vertical PDF presentation formats are trendy right now).
