Amazon PPC – Is a low CTR indication or Relevany or Bidding too Low?

    Hi All,

I was hoping someone could clarify CTR rate. A rough google search on Amazon CTR rate says a low CTR is indication of product relevancy to a searched keyword. It can also be images, pricing ect.

I have been pondering that CTR can also be because the bid is too low, and the impression is “below the fold”. It could show up on search results, but if the ad placement is so low on the page (ie low bid) that it counts as an impression even the the customer never sees the ad on the screen.

I ask because year-over-year our clicks are down 50% as are sales.

I am also seeing a drop in sales month-over.

    Any clarification would be appreciated.

Bidding could be to low. However, a lot CTR on any ad platform is usually a sign there is a disconnect between the ad and the people seeing them.

There also could be more competitors for what you sell and brands being more aggressive to get conversions during this time of the year.
