In my affiliate blogging, I have published 60 articles so far. My site is 4 months old and it is still in google sandbox and hasn't indexed yet.

I target keywords that have 500-2000 search volume in US with keyword difficulty is 0-10 on Semrush. My target audience is US and I do all the on page SEO as my rank math scores me 85+.

I have created some profile links and links on medium and google sites.

My website overall average ranking on google console dropped from 17 to 22 now it has reached to 17 average position again.

On weekly basis I am getting 45 visitors.

i have received 14k impressions so far, 72 clicks, 0.5 CRT.

I have made 3 amazon affiliate sales as well.

Am I going in the right direction?

A lot of people in this subreddit will say that you are 100% wasting your time, that affiliate marketing is dead from HCU and will never come back. Right now it seems like you would be better off selling or even drop shipping a tangible product rather than affiliate blogging.

It sounds about right for the age of your site and in the current climate. I would not look at this as a long term strategy though, especially if your site is just informational content. Google has really destroyed the vast majority of sites like this, I speak from experience. The only people really making any decent money from this are the likes of forbes and the spruce.

If you do decide to continue, I would just stop worrying about what google’s doing and focus your efforts on social media.

    Are all your pages indexed?

If not you might not have the crawl budget, and you’ll need to build some authority through backlinks. See if some of your top performing content is linkable and build a strategy to reach out and grab 5-10 high quality backlinks.
