Am I in a position to monetize my platform? Is managements smart for content creators?
Hello, little background I am a “social media influencer” I guess or “full time content creator” which ever term you prefer to use, regardless I make my entire living related to my social media. I have around 400k followers 1 platform, I average somewhere around 10 million views a month and it’s all original content. To level with you guys 16 months ago I hated my job so much I quit on the spot and took a chance on becoming a content creator the second I hit the metrics to be monetized. I took a risk and worked my ass off and was blessed with the right timing I guess which I’m very grateful. My question is with the metrics I’ve said do you guys think that I’m in a position to be able to make income outside what the app pays me for my views? Do people usually get like representation or is that crazy person thinking? I’m just not even sure where to start because I see my peers monetizing there page and “brands” and I send emails to very few responses. So to sum up that I’m lost and would gladly accept any advice anyone has. Thanks 🙏🏻

You absolutely need to diversify because if you’re banned for whatever reason, your entire income is cut off.
Yes some people work with agents/agencies to get brand deals
