Am I creep?
I just made a LinkedIn profile and decided to see what people who studied alongside me were up to just to see where I stand academically or professionally. I didn’t know that LinkedIn notifies the other person that you’ve seen their profile along with even letting them know how you’ve found them. I’m so so embarrassed . I found this out almost 5 days after I did what I did. I even searched a potential roommate, I had met almost months ago just to see if she has any connections that would help me. I actually also noticed she had deleted me on WhatsApp too. Prolly thought I was a stalker and a creep. Idk what to do. Am I creep?

You’re worried because the person saw that you viewed their profile? Did you click it 50 times or something?

You’re not a creep. Don’t read too much into it and don’t overthink it. It’s cool. If IG or FB worked in the same way, the whole humanity would be creeps.
But for future reference, you might want to use a fake profile if you don’t want someone to know you were seeing their profile. Or buy LI premium but doubt you’d be up for that. ?

It’s not weird on LinkedIn. Random people look at your profile, sometimes LinkedIn let’s you know. It’s not seen as weird or creepy.
Remember, no one sees “top collection viewed 50 profiles”. 50 people just see you viewed JUST their profile.

Honestly she probably thinks you, but no, you aren’t. Anyway you can turn this off in settings so you can’t see who viewed you but no one can see you anymore either.
