So how fast should we be in reacting to changing data on FB insights?

I currently post Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays. And the insights data first suggested posting that way. Now, just 3 weeks later its shifted to Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday's. Should I immediately change my schedule to match or should I wait to see if this is just a blip?

Curious what your thoughts might be.

Like the stock market, you can get a much more stable idea of where the market is by taking the 14-day average. A lot of the on-board metrics tools offered by platforms don’t really let you take a longer-term look, which would help make these sorts of decisions.

I have always taken the view that the shortest span of time you should react to is 2 weeks, but thats complicated by these day-to-day adjustments that platforms are making to the recommendation algorithms. If you do, you don’t have to change for *all content*, this is where A/B testing can come in handy, it gives you something to compare against, to see if you really should make the change

Seems like the algorithm is having an identity crisis—what’s next, cat videos on a finance page?
