I feel like I could’ve written this post myself ???? I’m in a super similar position.

At this point, I already have another person working with me to help out on a few things I’m not particularly skilled at — mostly design (I do PPC myself).

Over the next year, I’m looking at expanding to an agency model so I can onboard some additional clients and delegate some work to another PPC manager.

What I’m planning for the next 12-18 months is to:

    1. Post more frequently on Reddit and Twitter and connect with other people (whether they’re marketers or business owners). Basically, build a network.
    2. Create a personal website where I’ll publish blog posts, case studies, and offer free resources for lead gen.
    3. Attend offline events near me to connect with more people.
    4. Run paid ads to a low-risk offer to onboard a few more clients.
    5. I’m considering joining a mastermind/paid private community but still haven’t found a convincing one yet that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

PS: 80% of my clients actually came from Reddit. I met a few clients here who eventually referred me to other people and so on. Reddit is underrated!

I was in the same boat (finding most clients on Reddit). Still do, lol.
Anyway, growing a following on Twitter & LinkedIn helps. There’s a lot of good prospecting Software (free or like $40/month like Waalaxy) that has honestly been really helpful, too.
Fuck cold emailing, though. That stuff never worked for me.

    Btw, how’s countryside Japan?
