Agency Owner Can’t Access Client’s Meta Business Manager
I- Can’t access client’s Meta Business Manager despite him doing all the steps correctly:
As a newly launched agency, I just set up my Meta Business Suite recently, and signed my first client too.
Now, when it was time to onboard my client and get access to his Meta Business Suite to run his ads, I had him share his screen and go through all the right steps to invite me to his Business Manager.
He tried inviting me to his Meta Manager both as a “Partner” and also an “Admin”. However, after both attempts, I never received his invitation anywhere, be it in my notification center (inside Meta) or email (outside of Meta).
We tried deleting and resending both invitations at least 2 times, but still, I never received anything (be it 10 seconds after him sending the invitation, or 3 days later).
QUESTION 1: Did anyone face this problem before? If so, how did you manage to fix the issue?
QUESTION 2: Given that the email attached to my Meta Business Suite WASN’T VERIFIED by the time I was trying to access my client’s assets:
- Do you guys think it might’ve been the root cause? (I just fixed this email verification problem now, read the bottom of this post to learn about "my email verification story with Meta").
QUESTION 3: After verifying my Meta email now, do you guys think I can solve this Meta Manager access problem (if my client tries resending me the invitation one last time)?
2- Would my "UNVERIFIED Business Status" on Meta perhaps be THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM?
Also, not to forget, I didn’t mention that my business on Meta is marked as unverified. (I wish I could attach images here).
Now, when I click on “View details” and try to verify it, it tells me that my business DOES NOT NEED to be verified.
Here’s what I want to know:
QUESTION 4: “ofc, given I won’t trust Meta telling me that I don’t need to verify my account:
- Is there anyone here currently running ads and everything with an UNVERIFIED business? (or more specifically, a business that DOES NOT NEED to be verified per Meta's words).

MY EMAIL VERIFICATION STORY: Why I couldn't verify my Meta email address before? (but just did now)
The reason I couldn’t verify my Meta email before was because whenever I tried to verify it (by opening the verification email sent to my address), it always gave me this message: “Can’t verify this email address, please try another one” (or something along those lines).
Like, I tried verifying 4 different emails and none of them worked. In the back of my mind, I KNEW it was a problem from Meta's side.
Literally just now, I tried verifying the email address attached to my Meta Suite and it FINALLY worked (Meta’s fault basically).
Sorry, there were no replies found.
