    Adwords: Conversion Attribution

Where would I start to look to try and solve this issue?

Adwords is showing 541 Purchase conversions for the past 30 days. For the same 30 days on analytics, we are showing 429 conversions for Google CPC. I suspect some of this traffic is falling under organic because our organic numbers have been climbing steady as our campaigns have done better and better.

Also I paused an "under performing" campaign that was getting a below avg ROAS in the Adwords dashboard. However it also pretty much stopped all instances of orders for this particular brand, so I suspect this campaign was actually doing better than what I was seeing on the Adwords dashboard.

All conversion tracking is setup properly on our end.

Step 1: look at attributions model used for Analytics and AdWords

(If both uses same model, move to next stage)

    Step 2: Figure out Where

Where of conversation – like City/region wise break-up, and try matching this between AdWords, Analytics

    Product/Category Break-up

Try and see if there’s any difference and you get any insights

If conversation events are are setup correctly, you have to dig data more gradually to know where it is coming from.
