Hi, I recently started a personal growth membership community and now want to build organic reach through Instagram among other things.

We help people in the main areas of life (fitness, finance, relationships and mindset), so we don’t have a specific niche, but several different topics.

In the beginning, I started with one account and posted different topics every day. After about 50 followers, I regularly lost followers and think that the users are confused or annoyed by the different topics.

After that I split the account into three accounts (fitness, finance and relationships). However, it has become very difficult to post good content daily for all three accounts because the work has tripled (21 posts per week) and I can’t invest so much time.

Now I am unsure how to proceed and if Instagram is the right platform for organic growth.

Sorry if this is an obvious question. Unfortunately, I don’t have much experience with organic marketing.

IG is most definitely the right platform. I would suggest looking into the Mother/Child strategy. We used a provider and our account went from 190 Followers to 880 in 6 days; all organic. Not only that but there was so much traction with our account we were featured on Vogue.

FWIW our niche is Architecture/Interior Design.

I have one account and I think it’s not easy to manage it by myself lol. I think it’s really hard to post good content every day for all three accounts, especially if you’re new to organic marketing. A great way to make it easier is to plan ahead and create a content calendar. That way, you’ll stay organized and make sure you’re consistently sharing quality content.

You could also use Instagram Stories to interact with your followers and post stuff that doesn’t fit into your regular posts. It’s a great way to keep your followers engaged and boost organic reach.

Plus, if you focus on one account at a time and create content that’s tailored to that niche, you’ll be able to build a bigger following and get more engagement. You could also use targeted ads or a growth service like Ascend viral to get followers who are really interested in your content.

This service can also offer content consultation to help you improve your content. And don’t forget to use the other two accounts to cross promote content from the main account.

This is a lot and you probably won’t be able to keep up with all these accounts. Handling only one account is already exhausting so handling three requires a hard work.

You don’t have to post on a daily basis on all of the accounts, I know consistency is important and posting daily will help you grow faster but since you can’t do that, then you make a posting schedule. For example, you can post every three days on each of these accounts which mean making a day to post for each account.

I suggest to focus more on reels. If you want to gain views and followers quickly, then provide high quality reels that will attract all people. I know how hard this can be so if you can afford getting an assistant, then it will be great. At least he will help you for the first months until you gain a big number of followers. And if you can afford hiring a growth agency to help you grow these accounts, then you won’t have to worry about them at all. Try to find an agency that can get you real followers and a target audience at the same time meaning an organic growth. For example, for your finance page, they will get you followers who are interested in this topic. The same thing goes for the other accounts. I don’t know how many can provide this service, but I saw a person around here talking about an agency named ascend viral that does the exact thing, so check it.

You have to be patient when it comes to growing a social media account, especially on Instagram because it is not like it used to be before and people are complaining about it all the time.
