Abandoned checkouts
I have received abandoned and not recovered checkout for the last 7 orders.
Can it be something really bad? I tried to buy from myself and everything seems to work just fine.
All the orders are from facebook ads.
Not sure if this is the right sub, but nor sure where else to look for advice
Can someone have a look?

Welcome to e-commerce! 🙂 you’ll learn not everyone who puts their stuff in the cart will checkout.

Do you have abandon cart emails set up? If so test with free shipping and a discount to see if one or the other might influence a purchase. It’s super common that people just put items in their cart to see if they will get a discount via email now. If you get good traction with a free shipping abandon cart email you’ll want to think up of ways to fix your customer apprehension.

Abandoned cars are totally normal. People put stuff in a cart and fill out the basics to find out the exact price with shipping and discounts. Then they do it on other sites and pick the one they like.
It’s also possible that they think they ordered but didn’t finish checkout. If you have their email, you should be sending them a message reminding them they have stuff in their cart and the order has not been completed.
