  • A tool for content planning?

I am working at a company that manages 7 different social media accounts. It’s about 70 to 100 social posts per week.

We have a dedicated content creator.

Is there a tool where he can enter the content across all channels and themes/topics, for me to review before I decide if it goes forward or needs a rewrite?

It should be able to allow for chars limit (Twitter), and maybe add images to it or links.

We tried excel with different tabs, but it just slows down our work a lot.

We currently work on Hubspot, but don’t want the content creator to go to our planner and do drafts, it will again slow him down.

Maybe Excel is the way to go, we just didn’t set it up properly (copy-pasting from excel and in-cell selection is not ideal).

    Happy to receive any tips,

    Thank you!

You can use any scheduling software like metricool or meta suit to schedule content and that meta have multiple access and also in metrocool you can login in multiple system or buy it and add more people as a team member

I have worked at multiple social media agencies (as a social media manager, director, content creator) and by far the best content planning tool I’ve used is Airtable. You can view things as a calendar, add comments to posts that you want edited, mark for approvals. I truly could not go back to planning content any other way.

You might need to pay for the premium version to access all the features, but it’s worth every penny!

I’d recommend Opal (workwithopal) since it’s specifically geared for social media content. The interface and team collab features are great. It’s glitchy sometimes but their dev team fixes things pretty quickly once you flag them

Buffer is the most budget freindly and easy to use software for the type of work you want.
