A NEXT-LEVEL SOCIAL NETWORK
All of us clearly understand that our present life is in no way without social networking, but as we can see, social networks web2 is increasingly limiting us in everything.
***I want to introduce you to the new social network Solcial and hear your opinion about it.***
Solcial is a decentralized web3 social network that gives its users full freedom of speech and does not restrict them in any way. Moreover, Solcial has so-called Tiers, where users can share more interesting content in Tier 2/3 and get rewards for it.
But, also a new feature has recently appeared in Solcial **- Social-to-Earn Mining Program**. The idea is that the platform rewards its active users who stake their tokens. Every day, you can claim the bonus tokens and sell them, getting real money.
**Do you think such a social network can replace our usual social networks?**

No.
Full freedom of speech (whatever you think that means) is not good for a social media site. People will exploit that idea to harm and attack others. Many people will not find that a welcoming place and will avoid it, even from the beginning because of its political implications.
Web3 also caters to a small audience of users. At best, this can be a niche social networking site. More likely, it won’t even get that far.

Every time a new service sets up with the preposterous goal of “absolute freedom of speech” it becomes a hosting service for CSAM, spam marketing, and propaganda. Any social media service launching without a thorough moderation plan is doomed to fail, and investors know this.
The problem with trying to stitch cypto into behavior like this is that if you aren’t handing out enough to buy a sandwich every day, you’re constantly telling your users “You’re only worth pennies”. Not even real pennies, crypto pennies that they can go through some hassle to turn into a smaller number of real pennies. When you’re awarding fractions of a cent, you’re insulting most people.

not until it offers something new or interesting – “web3” is not appealing to the vast majority of people. that ship has come and gone and it’s just a buzzword at this point. the hype of web3 made a lot of people very aware of the pitfalls of tokens and bespoke crypto/neo currency and after the last get rich cash grab, there’s not enough interest to sustain this large scale – definitely not enough to ‘replace’ our existing social networks.
not to mention the entire thing just sounds untrustworthy. if you’re going to advertise it as a potential replacement it should probably sound less like you’re trying to get me to join a MLM

Web3 is so 2022, we’ve moved onto AI now for buzzword compliance.
