After activating Google analytics via Google site kit. My 350kb web page has 70kb of code from Google Analytics.

    How can I reduce this?
Maybe delete GSK and manually add GA4 code?

Or even after that the page size will be the same?

Monsterinsights is a common alternative. But yes, the best way to connect is by adding the tag manually.

70kb… that’s so small I wouldn’t imagine you would notice it on anything but dial up?

Ideally I would recommend putting in Google Tag Manager and then running everything through there as that will have the lowest impact.
