One was at a hockey game so I thought it was going to get allot of views but it got none. I think theyre glitched but idk why or how to fix it. I have others that are normal and get around 1k views.

Ah man, that sounds annoying. Yeah, Snapchat can be weird sometimes. If some of your Snap Map stories are pulling 1k views and others get zilch, it’s probably not a glitch—it might just be how the algorithm’s acting up. Here’s a couple things to check:

First, make sure those stories are actually set to public on the map. It’s super easy to accidentally post to just “My Friends” or some private setting without realizing it. Go back and double-check the settings for that specific story—Snapchat doesn’t always make it obvious.

Also, Snap’s algorithm can be real hit-or-miss. Even if your content is 🔥, the app sometimes won’t push it to as many people if it thinks the engagement might be low (yeah, it’s petty like that). Timing matters too—if you posted during a weird off-hour when fewer people were active or your followers weren’t checking stories, it could tank views.

You could also try reposting that hockey game clip—sometimes just deleting it and throwing it back up fixes the problem. Snap Map can be glitchy when it comes to syncing stories; it’s not uncommon. If it keeps happening though, try updating the app or even logging out and back in. Worst case, clear the cache—sometimes Snap just needs a little kick to start working right.
