I know everyone is having issues with IG, but my god. I run a social media account for a brewery and my last post had a reach of 7. We have 19.6k followers and when I viewed the post from my personal account and another account I run the latest post did not show up in my feed. I had to search for it.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I posted today.

Constantly. I have 19K and can’t seem to get seen by more than 100-200 people.

I have nowhere near that many followers (Around 3.5K), but I’m wondering if you noticed a vast difference in reach between personal, business, or creator account types on IG?

I’ve often heard rumors that reach drops off a lot once an account switches from personal to business/creator. Do you find this to be the case?

A reach of 7 or 7 likes? Reach and likes are two diff metrics & that sounds crazy low for reach. Have you been flagged for anything recently? Was it a static post with one still image?

Photo carousels are the best performing content right now, followed by reels. One account I manage has about 21k followers and our engagement between posts varies drastically. In the past month our lowest was 38 likes on on a static post, and 1500 likes on a well-performing reel. Any time we post a single still image it gets below 100 likes. IG is a totally different climate than it was even just a year ago. Our strategy is to cut back on filler content that we don’t expect to perform.

Nope, I just hit 1K recently on my new account, and my average reach is more than 500 on each post. And on my business page which is also around 19K is getting around 20-30K in reach easily. I wonder what happened to yours?

It’s due to reels. Post a reel and you will get the exposure you should.

Less people swiping posts and more spending time on reeels. Not to mention the amount of people not active on their IG at all because they made the jump to TikTok or kust spend more time on there.

I got 7k and my posts reach 200 with like 20-30 likes.

I post a reel, even a bad one, and it gets 4k views in two days, almost everytime.

IG is completely screwed up ever since reels came out.
