0 Views after adding Tiktok Business Account
I have a personal tiktok account that gets about 1k views on almost every video regardless of the quality. I added a business account and it’s getting 0. The account is registered and doesn’t have any visible flags. I understand a video may not perform well if there is no engagement but that requires at least showing the content to at least a few people to test it.
The pessimist in me says it’s because they want my business account to buy ads but I’m also just as likely to be messing something up myself. What might I be doing to have a harder time getting my business account going?

It’s very possible they want you to pay to play.
May I also suggest Instagram reels? Depending on your target audience you may find as many if not more target demographics there, and I’m always nervous about business accounts on Tiktok because of the blatant security concerns. -
Are you against self-promotion? Could you use your personal account to encourage people to view your business account?

I started putting hashtag stickers on my videos and I have noticed an uptick in views and followers.

It’s possible that you may be missing something when setting up your business account. Have you tried optimizing your content for the TikTok algorithm? It means you need to make sure that you are following the best practices for creating content on TikTok.
This includes using the right hashtags, creating content that is relevant to your target audience, and engaging with other users. Also, make sure that you are promoting your content on other social media platforms. This will help to increase your reach and get more people to view your content.
You have also to consider investing in some paid advertising on TikTok. This will help to get your content in front of more people and increase your chances of getting more views.
If you’re still not getting the results you want, you may want to consider using Instagram instead. Instagram has a larger user base and may be better suited for your business. Last year I started promoting my business on Instagram and now I have many loyal customers thanks to this agency called Ascend viral that helped me to get real and potential followers organically.
They also provided me with content consultation to help me improve my content. Or you can use both Instagram and tiktok. I hope you will see results very soon. Just be consistent and patient.
