When marking up schema you are required to include either a URL or imageObject for images. Google supposedly prefers the use of imageObject as you can include more information describing the image than you can with URL. So, if you supposedly wanted to rank an image for a given term, that term or words directly related to that term should be included in the imageObject markup. Got it?
