Price is recommended for Product schema but not required. It means that you will be given warning in GSC for it but not an error, so the schema would still be allowed by Google.

Also if you still wonder how your product schema (if applied) would look on Google SERPs then you can also check it in the rich results test.

And about your question, though its just my opinion and may not align with everyone else’s, but my only focus would be to add a product schema for a product page, because I don’t think including article schema would have any major effects (though it also depends on the search query and its intent)
