Definitelybetz covered a lot of good points already. Running a good blog myself I can give you some other advise as well:

Gastronomy is a people business. Make connections. Talk to the owners. Don’t be arrogant. Word travels fast.

If you are in an urban city, get some stickers and ask if you can put it somewhere around the store. Or put them near highly frequent places. This really worked well for us gaining us like 5K followers for like 30€.

Be unique, find a niche and your own voice.
