Trying to optimize my site and I was using Pagespeed to check things. I’m sure it has something to do with redirects but the www version of my site is faster than the non-www version. They’re obviously the same site, just redirecting. Both are secure.

Is there anyway to speed up the non-www version or make sure Google is using the www version for indexing when it’s scoring it for page rank?

You’re probably correct with the redirects. Make sure all images, css files, site file are using either https:// or https://www. Once everything is loading from the same spot then make sure only one version of the site loads using a redirect. You shouldn’t be able to access both versions of the site. Google search for “force www with htaccess file” should help.
