Worth giving a new IG account a small follower boost?
Posted by on November 4, 2025 at 4:34 pmI just launched a new Instagram account. So far, I'm posting consistently (reels, stories, product shots, behind-the-scenes stuff), but growth is really slow. Engagement’s okay, but I'm still sitting under 300 followers after a few weeks.
I know organic growth takes time, but I keep seeing people say a small starter boost of followers can help with early credibility and algorithm signals. Has anyone here actually tried that? Does it help the page look more established, or does it just mess with your metrics and trust? Have tried or heard of the service Pathsocial? I want to try it.
Curious how others got past the initial plateau, stick to organic, or is a tiny push worth considering?

I don’t think a small follower push hurts if you do it smartly and combine it with quality content plus engagement. The key is to avoid sketchy bot services. A little credibility can go a long way for new customers checking out your page.

Every brand that looks big now went through that silent phase. As long as your content looks clean and feels authentic, followers will come. It just takes that one viral moment.
