Guys, I have this question of whether or not creating content at this point of time, like is it worth starting now or am I very late? Will my content work if I start now?

Also I have this social anxiety which is keeping me away from creating content!
(A little backstory – I used to create some dance videos back in 2019-20 but then it stopped due to education and again while college I started making content again about cinematic videos). Now I want to start over again and show my skills and ability to the world.

I want to create content in various domains such as fitness, sports, dance, tech, lifestyle, etc.

I would like to have suggestions from you all and also open for criticism!

Yes it is more than worth creating content. My advice would be to niche down and see what works the best for you. Also, check out Tapkeen as an additional platform to publish your content on.

It’s actually good treatment for social anxiety through what would be exposure therapy. Win-win. It will be hard at first, but this could be your opportunity to conquer your fears

I created a sneaker restoration/fix video back in 2011, checked it a year later and had over 10k views. Back then that was alot for yt. I still kick myself over not continuing on with them from time to time, however I also am releived I didn’t and end up pigeon holed into that content.

Just do it. Don’t show your face if you’re anxious… but definitely worth doing. I see so many channels who upload once or twice a year hitting 100k plus subs nowadays it’s crazy

Keep your head up, Best of luck!

It’s always worth creating content, because it doesn’t matter when you start but how consistent you are in doing it. If you look at who has “arrived” today, many started years after the pioneers but have found their own unique voice and specific audience. The only real delay would be to postpone it even further.

When I started again after a long break, I felt the same way. I thought it was too late for me, but I learned that it’s never really “too late.” New people are always joining, and if you stay consistent, you’ll eventually find your audience.

It’s never too late to start. For multi-niche content try AI tools like Affogato or even just using stock footage from Pexels or Unsplash to get going.

Nope! I made $90K so far without having to post a single video!! 🙌🏻 So you don’t need to at all!!!

I’m a US creator with millions of followers on TikTok and I wanted to share my answer to this question I currently have. The idea that it’s “too late” to start creating content is honestly a myth. Every single year people break out with completely new accounts. The algorithm doesn’t care when you started, it cares how people react to your videos in the first few hours.

What matters is focus. If you try to cover fitness, sports, dance, tech, and lifestyle all at once, it’s harder for the algorithm to understand who your content is for. Pick one or two niches that you actually enjoy and can stick with. Once you grow an audience there, you can always branch out.

About social anxiety: you don’t have to show your face immediately. Many huge accounts grew with voiceovers, text on screen, or POV style videos. Over time, you’ll probably feel more comfortable showing up in front of the camera.

The fact you already made dance and cinematic videos means you’ve got experience most beginners don’t. If you start again now, you’ll grow faster because you understand editing, pacing, and presentation.

A lot of creators in r/TikTokheIp have had the same fear of being “too late,” and the consensus is the same: the best time to start was yesterday, the second best time is today. If you start now, by this time next year you’ll either have built momentum or you’ll wish you had started earlier.

Do it! I started selling digital products and don’t regret it.

Never too late. Platforms always reward fresh voices. Pick one or two niches you truly love, post consistently, and focus on improving each video. Social anxiety is normal. Start small, you’ll get more comfortable as you go
