If innocent users who’ve been on the platform for 10 years are getting, it seems like they’ll get a bad rap. Instagram is a lot stronger than tiktok and Snapchat at being reflective and 1:1 of a persons life, easily identifiable profiles of people you know and truly a good form of a digital representation of a person/your peers sometimes. However, with a ton of bans in late august and them basically telling you that you’ll have to talk to customer support after paying for meta (which is again a bot though not guaranteed to get you appealed) I’m wondering if there’ll be a mass exodus of users. If accounts are being PURGED, what’s the point in users investing in it as a great SOCIAL tool.

Another question: will ZUCK be sent to court big time for this? And I don’t mean small claims court. If zuck is forced to sell Instagram, who do you think is best suited to buy it?

most ppl won’t leave unless it breaks *their* account

doesn’t matter how many bans or news stories hit
as long as it still shows their ex’s wedding and what their old roommate ate last night, they’re staying

social apps don’t die from drama
they die when nobody checks them out of habit
