Why does tiktok shadowban content made in other editors?
Posted by on January 6, 2021 at 11:20 pmSo I have discovered that tiktok prevents people from just reuploading videos by not showing it to people if you upload it from anywhere but the tiktok video editor. I uploaded a video i made in my video editor, and it doesn’t even count my own view as a view, which it is supposed to count as 1. Is there a way to upload content from an editor and not get this “shadowban”?
Can anyone give a valid reason to why they do this other than to prevent content stealing? My content isn’t being put out due to this.

They do favor content made in tik tok video editor but I think they just might be verifying your tik tok.
This happened to me and I deleted the tik tok and re uploaded another one with no problems.

So i was referred to Cyber_poodlle on IG and he helped me get back my account successfully
