Why do some TikToks only get viewed by followers?
Posted by on July 22, 2020 at 11:05 pmSo I’m not sure this is the case but I post a lot of my clips from twitch onto tiktok for some extra discoverability but I’ve found with videos that are one 30-59 second clip they get around 150-300 views which is pretty good for me. But if it’s a clip that I’ve had to edit together (multiple clips that exceed 59 seconds) they only get at most 7 views and that number exactly matches the amount of followers I have. Some of those edited ones I think are the best of my content and takes the longest to make so its a little disheartening, just wondering why this happens and if there’s anything I can do to stop it?

When tik tok shadow bans you, sometimes they will just shadow ban you from the for you page so that your vids don’t reach the for you page. Your followers can still see your vids on their following page and people can still see them if linked to it. The algorithm works off of a black list of words that they find through text captions or speech recognition, there is no published list of words or phrases that will get you shadowbanned, but anecdotally I can say recently words like “protest” have been leading to shadow bans

Well it’s spyware and it uses the chase the dragon method to keep people using it. It’s complete garbage delete it
