Why Can’t I Delete Conversions in Google Ads?
Posted by on April 8, 2021 at 2:34 pmI have an account with a large number of unused conversions. I tried deleting them but Google doesn’t apparently let that happen. I’m able to click remove, but it only ads a red X mark, it doesn’t actually delete them.
Am I doing something wrong or is this how it is?

Removing a conversion action is effectively pausing a conversion action, if we’re comparing it to enabling/pausing/removing keywords and ads. You’re not doing anything wrong, that’s just how Google Ads is.
