Which platform would you recommend for promoting a low-cost ($5) product?

    Hey everyone,
I’m from Germany and I’m selling a product that costs only around $5. Because of the low price point, my conversion costs obviously need to stay pretty limited.

Which platform would you recommend for advertising or promoting a product like this?

Meta is likely your best option

we have our google shopping down to 15 cents a click. but even at that level it would be tough if you aren’t getting the product for free

For a $5 product, **paid ads are extremely difficult to make profitable** because your target Cost Per Purchase would need to be under $1.50, which is nearly impossible on major platforms. Your best and most reliable strategy is **organic promotion**. Focus on **TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts** to create engaging, problem-solving content that showcases your product. Use viral content to drive free traffic. If you must use paid ads, start with a tiny budget on **Meta**, target broad lookalikes of past purchasers, and focus on retargeting website visitors to keep costs low. But the foundation should be organic.

Meta definitely. Google has a far longer learning period for conversion based buys.
