    Hi everyone!
I’m a solo game developer and concept artist trying to find my way in the world of social media.
Right now, the main types of content I can post are dev logs, painting processes, and concept art.

So far, I’ve tried X (Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok — in that order.
On X, I stayed for quite a while but barely saw any results (maybe 50 views and 3–4 likes per post), even though I managed to interact a bit with the game dev community.
On Instagram, it was pretty much the same story — mostly friends and family engaging, and it’s easier to post art there than dev logs.
On TikTok, however, my first post got 500 views in less than an hour, which honestly felt like a huge number for me.

Here’s my issue: I simply don’t have time to manage all three platforms. Between university, developing my game, and family, I’m struggling to stay consistent — especially with short-form content, which takes me the most effort to produce.

So my question is: Which one of these platforms should I focus on if my goal is to reach a wider audience while keeping things manageable?
Also, I have no budget, so any low-cost strategies or advice would be greatly appreciated!

focus on tiktok since short-form content is getting you traction post dev logs and art process in short clips use trending sounds and hashtags repurpose content from one post into multiple clips to save time engage in comments to boost visibility consistency matters more than quantity
