I have a big Facebook account and don't want to lose it. I am the only admin. Which do you think is better?

    1. Adding a second admin in case my personal account is ever disabled. Although this potential second person is not technically savvy they are happy to use a unique password and two step authentication. This would be good in case my personal account was ever unexpectedly banned… but there is twice the chance of hacking.

    2. Staying as the sole admin and knowing if my personal account was shut down, the Page would be lost.

I am really conflicted about this!

    It’s a no-brainer to me – second admin.

Good call on your setup vs risk. Adding a second admin helps avoid being locked out if your account gets disabled.

As long as the second person uses strong security, like a unique password and two-factor authentication, your page is safer.

If you’re worried they might be a weak link, you can give them a lesser role (Editor) instead of full Admin, so you retain control.

So yes: add a trusted admin, just make sure you lock down roles and security first.
