Where does the #images function in messages for iOS get it’s GIFs from?
Posted by on March 6, 2021 at 7:25 amIn iOS there is a #images app/function that shows GIFs you can send in a message. I am trying to figure out where Apple is pulling these images from. I thought it was tenor or GIPHY, but that does not seem to be the case.

Apple uses Gyfcat, GIF Keyboard and Giphy, then ranks them using their own algorithm.

They pull from Tenor, Twitter and search results. GIPHY is separate from what I understand
