    Where Am I Going Wrong?

Posted by seohelper on February 12, 2021 at 10:17 pm

Hi all, I’m new to PPC and marketing in general. I’ve followed a few courses and tutorials on how to Facebook Advertise and [here](https://i.imgur.com/dHU22Sz.png) are my analytics. Pretty good imo, however, absolutely no sales… and roughly 7 add to carts. My landing page is [here](https://jellybeachfashion.com/). Where am I going wrong? I’ve spent alot of money on the ads relative to what I have and have not earned anything in return :/

    Two things

    1. You may already be doing this, but you need a retargeting campaign to bring customers back to your site and continuously engage people – it’s rare anyone purchases anything from someone they don’t trust/recognize. I saw one statistic that said the average consumer has to see an ad 7 times before they take an action.
    2. Your landing page could use a lot of design work. Better copy, higher quality images, and most importantly a UVP – why do people buy YOUR bag and not anyone elses.

I lurk a lot on reddit but made an account just to answer this question lol. If you have any questions feel free to lmk

I’m not an expert in landing pages and Shopify stores (my area of expertise is Facebook ads) but I can tell that you need some updates with the design of the page.

For the Facebook ads, I tried to look at the ads you are running so that I could provide feedback but it looks like they are turned off. I’ve made a lot of posts on Reddit about Facebook ads that people just starting out seem to find helpful, so you can check them out and let me know if you have any specific questions about them.

You’ve run the ads for 6 days, they need some time to optimize. Does your creative encourage sales? When they visit the landing page why should they buy? Is it easy? Tweak things and find what works for your business.

Spent 2 years at Unbounce and have worked on thousands of landing pages across SaaS, ecom and DTC. You can see a lot of common mistakes:

    1. [LP offices hours](https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=landing%20page%20office%20hours) I ran on here

    2. Twitter thread on [8 LP mistakes brands](https://twitter.com/duanebrown/status/1344310516496400386) make

You have the CTA 4 times on your LP and it’s a huge turn off. If someone wants to buy, they are going to buy. Your opening headline and subtitle feels more like an about us page and not a landing page for a specific product.

A graph like that won’t tell us what you are doing wrong beyond you barely spent any money and you don’t have enough data to know wha you are doing right and wrong. I’d shit off Facebook and work on your site and get that up to par first. Doesn’t matter how good your paid ad traffic is if your sit won’t convert.

You imply luxury and premium but your site does not say that through design or ad copy. Both are saying the complete opposite. [Italic](https://italic.com/) tries to say the same message as you but gets it across in a different way.

How much money did you spend?

Also is that really the landing page? Your landing page doesn’t even show the price of the product.

Your website needs some serious work. Landing page needs to have a longer average scroll time. Your product page needs to be optimised better. Most of all, your logo doesn’t align with your product – it’s not screaming luxury with a pixelated logo.
