I just personally redo my keyword research, then rewrite. It will bounce from a ranking of 30+ to 5-10 after changing three or four paragraphs.

Check out top-ranking blogs for the keywords and take note of how they’re written:

* Are they blogs or landing pages?
* Are they high-authority pages like Wikipedia or SEO blogs?
* Word count?
* Do they include videos?
* How many images do they feature?
* How many headlines?
* What is the focus of their content/what questions do they answer?

Make changes to your own content accordingly. Where possible, try to one-up the existing pages: answer questions more directly, use better formatting, etc.
