  • What’s the best social analysis tool?

Posted by seohelper on January 26, 2021 at 3:11 pm

At the moment I’m doing some hunting for a social media research/analysis tool.

To me, it seems like this portion of the market is very stagnant; A lot of platforms that don’t really offer anything over each other, or even the native platforms and the main difference appears to be in how they are presented.

Am I missing a trick here?

We use RivalIQ and Falcon but I can’t seem to find anything that would offer deeper analysis or offer suggestions.

If anyone has a tool they swear by, I’d love to hear about it!

What type of analysis or data are you looking for? That’s the first question. 🙂

Analytics is a mixed bag, depending very much on what you want to get out of it (brand mentions, competitive analysis, influencer tracking).

In general, **Metricool** is good for evaluation across all platforms. **Social Bakers** is comprehensive, but very pricey. On a budget, **Sendible** is decent.

If you love creating dashboards, try **Cyfe**. Data science geek? Go with **Domo**.

Corporate or enterprise level analysis (and not into hard core data management), try **Audiense**.

For monitoring, listening, and overall brand analysis, try **Mention**.

If you’re focused on analytics for all things Twitter – I’ve always counted on **Twitonomy**.

For Pinterest and Instagram analysis, try **Tailwind**, especially good for Pinterest.

    Hootsuite? No. Meltwater? Meh.

The best? Sprinklr. Now, can you afford about $60,000 just to get started with them? That’s another question.

Which ones are the best for Twitter? I want to analyze and sort through who people follow and are followed by. I also like to be able to search keywords to see if it shows up in someone’s bio.

The only platform I have found for this is FollowerWonk, but that is pricey.

Twitonomy just feels odd to me, idk what it is.

If you want just competitor historical data, seekmetrics is great for that, mostly free too
