What would you actually ask your ad campaigns if you could just talk to them?
Been thinking about this as a thought experiment and I'm curious what others would want.
If you could open a chat window and ask your campaigns plain-language questions and get real answers, what would you ask first?
For me it'd probably be:
- "Why is my Meta CPA up 30% this week compared to last?" – not the data, the actual diagnosis
- "What creatives are my competitors testing on TikTok right now?"
- "Generate 5 new ad variants based on my best-performing campaign this month"
- "Push this creative to my Outbrain campaign"
The reason I think about this: all the information to answer those questions technically exists – it's spread across four platforms, two spreadsheets, and a creative folder. The bottleneck isn't data, it's synthesis and action speed.
Every optimization loop has this structure: observe – diagnose – decide – execute. Right now, for most of us, steps 1-3 are painfully manual even when the data is right there.
What questions would you ask if the interface wasn't the bottleneck? What's the thing you most want to know about your campaigns that you can't get to quickly enough?
