Solid list. The recurring ones (membership, paid community, newsletter sponsorships) usually beat one-off stuff long term, but they take time to build trust.

One angle that works well for SaaS-ish audiences is bundling a simple digital product (template, checklist) with a lightweight tool, then upsell to recurring once people see value.

Also, distribution is the hidden tax here, you can have 50 monetization ideas but no reach. Scheduling and repurposing helps a ton.

If youre trying to stay consistent across platforms, weve been using https://www.promarkia.com/ to queue content so you dont have to post manually every day.

I’m brand new to social media, sort of. I decided to delete all my social media from high school because YIKES. I’m starting a music career and I’d love to not turn 40 years old one day and only have made $5 in pennies.

I’ve tried a few of these and the reality was very different from the “make money as a creator” videos. Freelance work from my content skills made me my first real money. Editing, writing captions, helping with ideas boring but reliable. UGC for brands also worked better than expected because they care more about decent content and consistency than follower count.Affiliate links only worked when I shared stuff I actually liked and used in my content anyway. When I forced it, nobody cared. Digital products took time but once a few started selling it felt nice to have something semi-passive.

What didn’t work for me was relying on creator funds or ad revenue. The pay was too small and views are unpredictable. My honest takeaway is that skills pay first, audience pays later. A lot of people chase views when they could be selling what they already know how to do.Curious what gave others their first real payout online because I feel like everyone’s “first win” is different.

monetizing social is cleaner when you give people a small interactive tool instead of another pitch post. a quiz or calculator that shows their score pulls more clicks than a bio link dump. i have used outgrowCo style quizzes for lead capture and the replies felt more natural. happy to dm a quick setup idea.
