Got my BM or what ever they call it now hacked like 3 years ago. Got demoted to employee and 3 random accounts got admin rights and made ads (got my money back and such).

After 2 years I payed for the blue checker and got live support. After 3 months front and back with new people all the time, Meta decided they could not rule that anything bad had happened (like that I approved them as admins?!). So, that’s my BM still hacked and probably 500 red flags and restrictions in the system.

I still have access to all my Instagram accounts and FB pages. SO, my question is: are all these clocked and shadow-banned and what not? I don’t do any real marketing and ads, just posting.

Am I better off just creating new Instagram and all to share my photography work and such?

OR should I focus on another platform completely? Snapchat, TikTok, Substack, Telegram?

    All input appreciate! ✌️

Tough spot, but you have options.

If your account really got hacked and Meta still flags it, you can try recovery steps via the official “my account was hacked” flow on Instagram or enable two-factor logins and secure everything else.

If the account remains throttled and you’re already posting without ads, starting fresh might give you a clean slate, faster reach, and less baggage.

At the same time, using alternate platforms (TikTok, Substack, Telegram, etc.) could hedge your bets.

If I were you, I’d create a new IG and profile on 1–2 other platforms now, treat the old one as legacy, and slowly rebuild.

Pick one small, actionable step you can take right now and commit to it. Momentum builds from there.
