  • What is the best practise to share youtube videos on facebook for best reach?

I’m no longer sure which way gets around the facebook war against youtube…
    I’ve tried
    Direct youtube links
Short 15-30 second previews or Thumbnail with the link in the description or the comments….

But if its in the comments and gets shared no one sees it? so no one clicks the link?
So is it better to just leave a youtube link in the description?

Or does it help if you mask it in a short link?
    I’m no longer sure

Just post the video to Facebook. They will reward you with huge (slightly fake) returns. If you publish it to YouTube too, promote that separately/elsewhere.

If at all possible, do a three-minute preview on Facebook. The platform rewards you for having videos that are three minutes or longer. Then link to the full video in the description.

Do not get caught up in the Facebook infrastructure. You will regret it. Rather focus on your Youtube channel.

Youtube videos are best for google ads.Use facebook ads if you post it in facebook. I learned it the hard way for my music.Hope it helps. If you have spotify, use fiver and only get organic traffic so that people convert to fans and save your music or follow you.

Facebook rewards original content. So posting the video directly straight to Fb is your best bet. Maybe a solution to increase your views is to mention your Youtube channel in the caption to go watch your other videos. But you’ll be wasting marketing dollars (if you are spending any) if you simply make a FB post that has the link to the YouTube video. FB killed organic reach so no one will see that link anyway, and you wont be reaching those new audiences anyways, which is what you said you want. So focus on building that audience on FB that you can then hope they click on the link in the caption to get you some more views. 12K views on a FB video and maybe some link clicks to your youtube is better than posting a link that only has a reach of 100 people. Does that make sense? haha Let me know if you have any other questions!

You could use ifttt to say if I upload a video, post a link to Facebook pages.
