What else we can do when running meta ads for a service based business?

Posted by hireit78 on January 20, 2026 at 12:45 am

Hi everyone, I have been running ads for my business for a while, we are a service based business and we provide remote talent to businesses in AUS and USA. What we are currently doing is create a campaign, with 1 ad set and 1 carousel ad with multiple creatives of different services. Start with a low budget around 25$/day and increase it after every few days but leads stop comming in after max 2 week even if budget is increases.

Then we start new campaign again. Is there something better we can do here, please share your experiences. Thanks

sounds like your creatives are just getting fatigued or your targeting is too broad. instead of nuking campaigns every 2 weeks, try actually testing different audience segments, lookalikes, or job titles. also carousel ads are kinda mid for services—single image ads with one clear offer usually outperform since people scroll fast.

Try different ad formats beyond the carousel. A single image or a single video ad.

You can also look at running Google Ads and Microsoft Ads for a service based business.

    You need a creative strategist.

Anyone can learn how to run a meta campaign, there is no secret structure, the best and only lever you can really pull is creative.

Have google ads brand spending up and running to capture leaky buckets of people who use brand search after seeing meta ads. Not everyone engages.

Are you running your budget at a campaign, or ad level? If you are slowly increasing ad spend like this, Meta will continue to push the same ad to the same group of people. I’d do some A/B testing with 2-3 different ad formats under a campaign. If you create a campaign, Meta will automatically distribute the budget to the best performing ads. It might take a bit more investing up-front, but this should help you come out of the 2-week dead cycle. Hope that helps!

    Id suggest the following:
    – A lot of A/B testing because of Andromeda – headlines, element, messaging etc.
    – Google Ads since its a service-based business.
    – Test beyond carousel formats.

Try these first, learn from the data.
