What am I missing
Posted by on December 3, 2020 at 5:05 pmI’ve been doing SEO for my company over the last year off of teaching myself SEO. Over the last 6 months I have been able to get our site from middle of Page 2 to 1st page number 7. But now I’m at a loss. Checking on SEO tools(moz, ahrefs, diib,spyfu) to compare my sight to my competitors I’m seeing that I have more ranking keywords and ALOT better backlinks as well as regularly putting out blogs which my competitors dont. What could I be missing here? Any help would be much appreciated. If curious to look over my site its http://www.c21rentals.com.

Optimize the content on pages you’re trying to rank. Meaning look at all the subtopics and related terms other pages that are ranking mention, and make sure you talk about the same things. SurferSEO is a great tool to help with this. SEMrush has an on-page SEO checker than does something similar. You could try interlinking from blog posts to your landing page with relevant anchors too.

Learn about Semantic SEO as a main pillar. Then surround it with a global Content Marketing strategy and take control over 1/4 to 1/2 of your backlinks.
