  • Warning: Do not use FPTraffic

FPTraffic is a thing where you can schedule a photos and links for your Facebook pages. It’s easier to do it this way than using Facebook’s own scheduler (nice work Facebook).

However, I’m fairly convinced what they do is scrape your Facebook pages, find things that work best on Facebook, and steal all your best ideas, niches, particular posts. Either they do it or they sell your information to someone who does it.

The reason I say this is since starting using them I’ve come across more and more Facebook pages that copy the best (most viral) posts from the pages I have access to, the best niches, etc. They basically make sites that do all the best stuff my pages do. Before this, my themes and posts were unique on Facebook. This both cuts down on the reach of my stuff, because someone else is doing it and pushing it hard, and also is frustrating seeing their copied versions getting lots of engagement.

To use FPTraffic now you need to grant them access to your page’s insights, which you didn’t need to do a year ago. I think this is how they do it.

This is a warning not to use them if you have a good niche or understand a good type of post, unless you want to see it jacked.

Sorry, so what magical stranglehold do you have on this mythical piece of content?
Why is it the scheduling tools fault?

Are you not getting reach? Every post you put out there is advertising your niche and content style to people.

This is the most paranoid post I have ever seen on here.
How in the hell do you think they are just cloning and copying the strategy of every page that uses their tool?

The reason FPTrafffic asks for permission to your insights (which you don’t have to enable) is because we use that data in our Pro package to tell you the best days/times for you to post, among other features.

LOL. Have you considered the fact that FTPtraffic actually helps you get visible and other people notice your content, see the success, and then emulate it? It literally has been happening for 100 years, I don’t think your content is that unique.

I know the founder and team of FPTraffic personally. They’re a legit company, Luke, a stand-up guy, Daniel is solid. Before you lobby inflammatory accusations like this, you better have some undeniable proof.
