Viability of Low Ticket Items on Google Search?

Posted by seohelper on March 8, 2021 at 8:47 pm

I’ve been running lower ticket items ($10-15 profit) on Google Ads, and I can’t seem to get them profitable. I’ve got conversions, just not profitable ones.

What is the viability of Google Search PPC for lower ticket items? Is it better to go with an alternative like FB Ads or Youtube?

Any obvious way to increase your average order size? Can you package items together?

Check your Auction Insights. If other small businesses are in there, it could be worth it to try to keep optimizing. If you’re seeing you’re up against Amazon, Walmart, etc. not worth it as they are willing to lose money on low ticket items.

Google Ads is challenging for small-ticket items due to the relatively high CPC. You are probably better off with FB Ads.

To make Google Ads more profitable you’d need to really raise the bar with your brand awareness so you can increase your conversion rates.
