  • Upcoming post/marketing opportunities for the next few days

Here’s a handful of upcoming events to help with post inspiration/ideas.

    **Today Nov 2**

    1. Asteroid 2018VP1 passes by Earth on the eve of US Elections with a 0.41% chance of collision. It’s not large enough to cause any serious harm, but it’s interesting and the timing with the elections is a *possible opportunity for humor.

    **Tuesday Nov 3**

    1. US Election Day
    2. National Sandwich Day

    **Thursday Nov 5**

    1. Guy Fawkes Night (Remember, remember the 5th of November)
    2. National Donut Day

    **Friday Nov 6**

    1. October jobs report.

    **Saturday Nov 7**

    1. Rock & Roll hall of fame induction ceremony

    **Sunday Nov 8**

    1. National Cappuccino Day
    2. National STEM Day

For those that might find it useful, you can find more events like this on Forekast.com which is where I compiled this list from. Also feel free to share with everyone in the comments section anything that I may have missed.

The US is in crisis. This might be the single most important election in the last 60 years or the next 50. And it’s a good opportunity for humour.

It’s amazing you’re willing to compile the list and share with people. But you’re demonstrating exceptionally poor risk assessment and some terrible lapses in judgement. You can not be working as a social media professional.

You need to stop suggesting people engage with stuff to do with US politics. Brand marketing is NOT the place for it.

Thanks for this list ! Honestly, as someone who’s not from the US, but works with clients who have an US audience, I don’t really want to deal with the US election… I’ll just wait until the storm has passed lol
