Unable to claim unofficial FB page because page verification feature was removed
Posted by on August 11, 2020 at 5:27 pmI manage a business page, but I just found a number of unofficial duplicate pages. These duplicates are receiving reviews, check-ins, and tagged photos that should be going to the primary page. I want to either claim, merge, or delete them, however the buttons themselves seem to be broken (I’ve even tried different browsers: Chrome, Safari, etc). Not only are the “claim business” buttons broken, but also the “Do you know the owner?” button. I keep clicking “Continue” and nothing happens.
I believe the issue stems from the fact that **Facebook removed the page verification feature last October**, but I’m not sure. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a work around?

Have you tried contacting Facebook chat support? They may need a license and proof that these are your pages
